New  Seawater cooler

January 2016
The year 2015 has been rather profitable for Frostmark with a good and wide variety in projects.
More optimism has characterized this last year than many of the forgoing years.
The fish, meat, vegetable and beverage industries all had new systems installed. The Leifur Eiriksson flight terminal had an expansion, as well as Snaeice in Grundarfjörður but they expanded there ice factory by 35% this last year
The demand for new systems is always increasing, with higher operation safety and lower energy consumption as a key feature. Information systems where the operator can track the refrigeration history and operation data are also in high demand.
Frostmark always has good co-operation with biotechnology science companies as a forefront in its system developing process to ensure that the new systems meet the highest demand imaginable for the food industry.
The freshness of food products is one of the most important factor for the consumer and therefore it is imperative to ensure good refrigeration at an early stage in the production.
Demand for traceability of product temperature from the first stage in the production line to the consumer’s plate is increasing, a demand Frostmark has taken into account when developing and building new systems. To ensure quality and reliability of its systems Frostmark has been in cooperation with MATIS regarding testing and approval of the systems.
Freezing is and will be important in the food processing industry. Many projects have been implemented in that field last year. Here, as in all other of the companys key areas, operational safety and energy efficiency is an important factor.
